Terms of Service
By using Local Lynx, you agree to use the product lawfully, avoid abuse, and keep your account credentials secure.
Operator
Local Lynx is a product operated by Ellipse Automation Limited. References to “we”, “us”, or “Local Lynx” in these terms refer to Ellipse Automation Limited.
Use of the service
Local Lynx is provided for legitimate business research and outreach workflows. You are responsible for how you use exported data and for complying with applicable laws, platform rules, and privacy obligations.
Fair use
Paid plans include unlimited usage for the data your tier grants access to. “Unlimited” is subject to fair-use limits that we apply at our discretion to protect platform stability and prevent abuse — including, without limitation, automated scraping, bulk redistribution or resale of exported data, attempts to circumvent feature gates, or usage volumes consistent with operational impact on other customers. We may impose rate limits, require additional verification, or suspend access without prior notice when usage patterns suggest abuse. Continued use of the service after such measures constitutes acceptance of those measures.
Accounts and billing
Paid plans renew according to the billing terms presented at checkout. We may change plan features or pricing over time, but changes will apply prospectively.
No refunds
All payments to Local Lynx — including subscription fees, plan changes, and any credits or trial allowances — are final and non-refundable. Cancellations stop future renewals but do not refund the current billing period or any unused portion thereof. Downgrades take effect immediately; the price difference between plans is not refunded. We do not offer money-back guarantees, contact-quality refunds, or refunds for service interruptions covered under our availability terms.
Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate any account, with or without notice, if we determine in our sole discretion that an account is being used in violation of these terms, that the account’s usage represents abuse or risk to the service, or that continued service to the account is otherwise not viable. Termination does not entitle the affected user to a refund of any fees paid prior to termination.
Availability
We aim to keep Local Lynx available and reliable, but the service is provided on an as-is and as-available basis. We do not guarantee specific uptime, data freshness, match coverage, or contact deliverability.
